Job Title: Part-Time Science Teacher (approx. evening 4 pm - 7 pm).

Job Overview: The Learner Academy is seeking a part-time science teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for science and education, as well as experience teaching science to students of various ages and backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging science lessons to students

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking

• Use a variety of teaching methods and tools to accommodate different learning styles and abilities

• Create and administer assessments to evaluate student learning and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns

• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other Academy events as required
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in science, education, or a related field (master's degree preferred)

• Experience certification

• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans and assessments

• Familiarity with relevant educational technology tools and software

Working Hours and Compensation:

• This is a part-time position with flexible hours based on the needs of the Academy and the availability of the successful candidate

• Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
